Mr. Tim Brown, Vice President of Finance, Triad Business Ventures, LLC

Tim Brown, a native Oklahoman, was born and raised in Oklahoma City.  His ancestry goes back to pre-statehood with relatives running in the land run of 1889 that settled Oklahoma City.  They claimed a plot of land, which is now a part of the State Fair Park.  He attended Casady School, and graduated from Heritage Hall in 1991.  Mr. Brown moved to Tulsa in 1998 after completing business school on the East Coast.

Mr. Brown began his professional career at age sixteen by establishing Hard Rock Productions to produce two nationally recognized radio shows broadcasted on KOKF 91FM in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  The Rock was a biweekly news program covering Christian rock/metal news.  Nationally recognized Underground Uncovered was an interactive show featuring underground or unsigned Christian bands competing against each other for listener votes.  Listener response was then distributed every quarter to bands, record labels, and music industry leaders.  Hard Rock also promoted and sponsored Christian music concerts in the Oklahoma City metro area at that time.

Tim received his BS in Public Administration with a minor in Bible from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas in 1995.  He also earned a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA in 1998.  While attending Regent, he served as a student leader representing the School of Business.  Mr. Brown also consulted with small businesses on finance, marketing, and business plan development while a student at Regent.

Mr. Brown is an internationally published author and motivational speaker. His published works have been featured in Regent Times (Virginia Beach, VA); a study of the causes of crime at Harding University (Searcy, AR); and wrote a weekly devotional targeting business professionals to fulfill their calling in business called Something To Chew On (Something_to_chew_on@hotmail.com) for more then three years.  Mr. Brown also has written in the Tulsa Beacon newspaper.  He has been a leader of a weekly professional Bible study in downtown Tulsa, OK.  He has spoken at Bible studies, churches, and other community organizations and is an active member of Jubilee Christian Center in Tulsa, OK.

Tim has experience and has held leadership positions in broadcasting, entertainment, Internet, wholesale networking, wireless, transportation, and print manufacturing industries.  He has been Vice President, CFO and served on the Board of Directors of Alton Jennings Company, Inc., a privately held Oklahoma City based real estate development company.  He also served on the Board of Directors of India Mission, Inc., a non-profit evangelistic and humanitarian organization.  He is one of the Founders, Vice President of Finance of Triad Business Ventures, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in helping entrepreneurs, small businesses, and corporate clients through development of comprehensive business plans, obtaining capital, and additional business development after launching their new ventures.
